Is privacy in the digital age a matter of individual preference or general policy? That question and others aimed at understanding the importance of privacy online will be a key topic of discussion at the Activism + Media + Policy Summit (AMP Summit) brought to you by YouTube in Washington, D.C. September 28th and 29th. Be part of the discussion.

Last year’s event featured a special roundtable, “Privacy in the Internet Age: Does D.C. Have a Role to Play?” The expert panelists included: Lillie Coney of the Electronic Privacy Information Center; Will DeVries of Google; Bruce Mehlman of Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti; Berin Szoka of the Progress and Freedom Foundation; and Christopher Wolf of the Future of Privacy Forum.

We’ll continue the conversation about privacy and the Internet at this year’s AMP Summit. Tony Romm of POLITICO Pro, Bryan Gernert of Resonate Networks and leading attorneys on privacy Stuart Ingis, Partner at Venable and Gerry Stegmaier, Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich Rosati will curate the panel, titled “Data, Privacy and Personalization.” Learn more about this year’s programming here: http://ampsummit.com/agenda/
